Hello from the Netherlands

I visited this forum a few times and now I'm looking forward to visit this place a bit more often and to get to know it around here. I allready saw severall known names to me from the DPReview forum.

With kind regards,

Jos

Welcome and lets see lots of great pictures of the 'lowlands'. I was there many years ago and it's a beautiful country. Love the cheese and chocolate!

Welcome Jos.
Thanks for your welcome and I have just posted a photo of which I think is a square tailed nightjar on the birdsite. Thanks for the link!

With kind regards,

Jos

This the one. It's a square tailed nightjar if I'm not mistaken.
Taken With my K10d and Sigma 400mm.

Thanks for your welcome and for your compliments to my country. Did you know we use chocolate on our bread? It's called hagelslag. Mmm, delicious.

And here is a photo to start with:

It is taken in the Dutch Open Air Museum in my hometown Arnhem

Since we're saying how much we like Holland - did I ever say I fell in love with Amersfoort.
