Hello from Minnesota!

Hello all! Years ago my wife and I had a Pentax SF10 35mm camera and LOVED it! We got into the digital point and shoot cameras, and then I purchased an iPhone 4 which worked quite well. But none of these can handle situations like our kids' sports. So early this year we purchased the K-r. I made the decision based on how much we loved the SF10, plus it seemed to rank high in a couple areas important to us - fast frame rate and the ability to do HDR. So far, we have not been disappointed (although I haven't done anything with HDR yet)!

While I think I have the technical basics figured out, where I need to improve is on the creative side and composition.
