Hi from Milano, Italy!

Hello to the forum members!

I have registered to be a member here although I dont own any of Pentax cameras.. not yet.. I am considering to get one - a pentax K10d.. after a long consideration it seems to be the one to fit my needs.. curently I have a nice not dSLR camera.. it's Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50..

I am interested to get as much info as possible about Pentax cameras and lenses..

Thank you!

Hello Irena,
Welcome to the forum. I have the K100D, but everyone (almost everyone) who has the K10D seems to love it, so I think it's a good choice. Good luck with your decision and I look forward to seeing pictures of Bella Italia.

Salve Irena!

The K10D is a smart choice, even more now it is probably the best bang for buck out there. The learning curve to master it is not really steep and you have a relatively big choice of glass from both Pentax and 3rd parties. Go for it!

I lived until recently for a year in Lugano, in Svizzera, so all that region is beautiful for photo material. Actually I have to take a picture of il Duomo @ Milano, the faccade was covered everytime I was there...

Cari saluti

Welcome Irena!
I had the good fortune of visiting your wonderful country in September. I loved Milan, and was there to see the Ferrari Car Club of Milan with dozens of bright red sports cars below the Duomo. Here's a view from the roof
I only wish I had my new K10D with me for that trip! Next time for sure

Welcome, Digital Gal. I have seen your posts over on Steve's. You will find there are very knowlegeable individuals here also. I have the K100D and I love it. I thought about the K10D, but decided it might be too much camera for me at this time. Looking forward to seeing some of your photos.
