Pentax newbie

Dear all,

I am new to the world of DSLR photography. Earlier I had a normal digital camera. Now, i've got a Pentax K 100 D. Started exploring this. There are so many things to explore.
I got a 17-55 mm lens along with it. But, soon I understand that I need to get atleast one another lens. Can any one suggest?

Well, first, it would be helpful to know what you want to take pictures of. Bugs? Birds? People? Landscape?

And how much you want to spend now, and later, for lenses.
