Hello everybody,
my name is Carlos and I'm a 21-year old filmmaker from Frankfurt (Germany). Since I got my hands on the K-x which was my first digital SLR I've fallen in love with Pentax and I guess, thats one of the few reasons I stayed with it despite shooting more video than photo. So I guess, this forum is the right place for someone like me

Most of us here love our Pentax gear for a variety of reasons, including some who shoot video with the later models.

Enjoy your time here, and feel free to share whatever of your works you wish to.

Nothing wrong with having a preference for something even if it isn't the more popular among the masses. I too prefer Pentax ergonomics and build quality over the other brands and I live with the few trade offs that come with it. It makes us, us. Welcome to the forum. I am presently on a photo vacation wilii return home later today. K5 was out in the rain and misty morning weather but I didn't have to worry, just shoot photos.
