Finally I got me a pentax!

I'm from Belgium and since of yesterday I'm the proud owner of a pentax K5!
I'm new here as a forummember but for the last 4 months this website was open every day! Because as soon as I decided on a pentax K5 I started looking everything up what there was to know about pentax. Also when I realized the DA lenses were too expensive for me to buy immediately after the camera, I searched for other options and found older pentax lenses on secondhand sites and compared how good they were with this forums member reviews. And as a result of that, before I even owned the pentax K5 I already owned 6 lenses, 2 pentax camera's and 2 flashes
And now I'm sitting here enjoying myself with my little collecting of treasures!

So thank you all for adding those reviews and insights, I hope with my membership here I can do the same for some other people!

Welcome tinekevl!

We'll call your situation "early onset LBA" :-)

Hi tinekepinneke, nice to greet you here! You will grow to absolutely love your K-5 and especially when coupled to your 50mm and 100mm M lenses!

Welcome to the forum, tinekevl. The older lenses work great with the K-5, and I'll look forward to your photos from Belgium.

Welcome to the forums. LBA and CBA come to mind right from the start.

Your trajectory into the Pentax world sounds familiar to my own and I suspect that of some here on PF. The forum is a valuable resource in so many ways.
I'm just gonna say that since joining Pentax, I got a bad case of LBA and CBA. I love getting my hands on old glass.
Good luck on your journey.
