Hello from Moldova

I had a first look with K10D, was quite impressed, as I never used a DSLR before
Right now i want K-5 IIS and a 50mm F f/1.7 lens, what do you think?
Remember, I am a beginner!

Welcome. The k-5 is an awesome camera and the k5II is supposed to be even better. The k-5IIs has the anti-aliasing filter removed which is supposed to give slightly sharper images but with the potential of adding moire pattern artifacts. For a complete beginner I would stick with the k-5 or k-5II until you have a better idea of what you want to shoot, not the k-5IIs model.

I have the Pentax F 50mm f/1.7 and would definitely recommend it. Excellent value for the price.

thanks for responding, but I still would like to know what cameras will get Focus Peaking, i don't think that original K-5 will get a new firmware, and K-5 II and IIS are new, there is a hope...
As K-30, Q and Q10, K-01 have already focus peaking, why they are not including this feature to K-5 also?

The K-5 and K-5II have a different processor. This is also why it has fewer video options. Maybe they can add peaking, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it. The K-30 and K-01 have essentially the same sensor as K-5, so they are almost as good when capturing still images, but they also have better video and focus peaking.

I would recommend a different lens. The 50 1.7 is more like 75mm on a crop frame which makes it a great telephoto lens for portraits and not much else. It will be rather limiting for landscape/street photography and also for large indoor scenes (thought I admit the F1.7 is nice). What I would recommend is you either start with the kit lens and as you improve move onto different focal length primes or start with a nice zoom like say tamron 17-50 F2.8 which has both wide angle and portrait capibility and is considerable step above the kit.

On a side note, if you really want the 1.7 you can get a A 50mm 1.7 on ebay for like $50-60 as well, and just sacrifice the auto focus
