Hello from SF/Bay area

Hi. New member from the San Francisco Bay area.
I'm a Long time Pentax film user with a fair sized collection of
film bodies and lenses. Recently pulled out my favorite PZ-1P
and remembered how nice a camera that is.

Kinda lost interest in photography around
the time digital took over. Been feeling the urge to get back into the
game and will be looking to make my first DSLR purchase. Most
likely a used body. Any suggestions would be helpful. I have been reading
the DSLR reviews and educating myself.

Great to be back and will check in from time to time.

Thanks eaglem. Perth is a wonderful location.
Went there twice in the early 80's when attached to a
nuclear sub in the US Navy.
