I'm from Brazil and joining to get further info from Pentax lens as I get ready to get my k-5 IIS. Also tired of being a lurker...
Bit of a background, got my k-5 along with a couple of lenses back in July on a ny trip at B&H. Enjoyed it for approximately 4 months until my house was burglarized and among my losses was my beloved k-5!

So the idea now is getting the IIS now on my next trip to the US with a couple of limiteds and maybe a zoom. Enjoyed the 55-300 so much I'll probably get it again... Will try to upload something later of what I shot with it, probably will just make me miss it more but will try to be an active member.
