new here

I currently have a Canon EOS Rebel XSi and I am trying to get rid of it so I can get a Pentax K-30! Even if I can't unload the Canon, I plan to get the Pentax.

I like the idea of in-body image stabilization and the video option, though I probably won't use that as much except maybe for weddings.

I want to get more into macro shooting (my kids love to bring me bugs and critters to photo), but I want to know if and which macro lenses are best. Tax return is coming up so money only matters as related to quality.

Please let me know your opinions/experiences. Thank you.

Sometimes the FA 100/2.8 macro comes up for sale in the marketplace for a very decent offer. Those lenses are solid and optically excellent also.
