Hi everybody I just joined the site, I have been a dedicated Pentax shooter for two years now. I started out with the K-r and now shooting with the K-5.
I love the K-5 its a great camera! I am now in the process of picking up a DA 15mm, I have read many great reviews about it on this site, I was going back and fourth for the longest time between the 15 and the Sigma 10-20. I think I have decided on the 15 but if anybody has any suggestions either way I would love to here your opinions!

Welcome aboard, I would got for the 15mm because it will blow away the zoom in terms of IQ. And now that it's just $539 at B&H / Adorama, it's the perfect time to order it!

Welcome to the forum. The DA 15 is a stellar wide angle lens, and so compact. Unless you need a wider angle than 15mm, I would definitely encourage you to get one also. There is a popular dedicated thread here on the lens called https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/lens-clubs/86234-15mm-limited-controls-my-mind-club.html if you wanted to see some practical examples of what it can do. Enjoy.

Thanks for the feedback! I am definitely for sure getting the DA 15, I cannot wait to take it out and put it through its paces!
