Hi from Normandy

I'm a Norwegian living in France, wanting to learn to photograph better. I've had a K100 D Super for ages now, and for my birthday next month I hope to get a K-30! I can only imagine what a big improvement it will be, certainly a big change. Lenses will come later, I think i will go for a cheap 18-200 or 50-300 to begin with, I will have my old 18-55 kit lens still. I have recently joined a local photo club, so I hope I will pick up some tricks there as well as in here. See you around!

Welcome aboard! The K-30 will definitely feel like a pretty big upgrade. You should pair it with one of the new affordable DA primes, like the 35mm F2.4 or 50mm F1.8

You'll find loads of help and hints, etc .... around here.
Welcome aboard.

BTW ... I had a huge smile on my face when I saw your forum nickname ... a little "skunky" it is!

Cheers.
