Hello from Danas

Hello!

My first post here.
My name is Danas I am more known as Danas_Anis in various places.
I am a multimedia design artist and do various stuff ranging from animation, video, amateur photography, graphics design.
As many people I have been reading Pentax forums for quite some time and was this ghost person lurking around. And here I am making my first steps in this community.

I do not have my own camera nor other photography related equipment except my cheap old tripod.
I was lucky to work with variety of cameras ranging from Canon 5D Mark II, Canon 7D, Canon 60D, Canon 1100D, Canon 350D (am not certain if the number correct), Nikon D40x, Olympus E-420 (love it!) , Olymppus E-3 (adore it), Panasonic Lumix G-2, Panasonic Lumix GH-2, but all these were borrowed except Olympus E-420 which my sister shared with me.
Unfortunately I was not successful in having opportunities to get my own camera. But quite soon I might get a chance.

I was looking at Pentax for quite a few years now and really love the quality and ergonomics of Pentax. And after having some chances to hold a few Pentax cameras in my hands, they simply grew on me. I also love the menus and how these cameras are handled. Pentax cameras just have this something that makes the one love them and instead of feeling it as some alien tool that the one has to use, most Pentax DSLRs feels like extensions of your own body.

There fore I decided to register here and seek for some advice which I will ask in a dedicated forum section. And maybe I will finally become a Pentaxian instead of some sort of a fan of Pentax. (in this case a fan = someone who doesn;t have it but likes it and would like to have it; Pentaxian = a person who is not only a fan but also a happy user of Pentax production )

Hope you all are doing very well,

Kind regards,
Danas

Hello Danas, I've used Pentax camera's for many years Pentax K 1000 very successfully and love the K mount, its a pity they (Pentax) do not advertise this more freely. Good "shooting"

@ brianlt, Hello! Yes I know that Pentax are great cameras. Most people I met said Pentax cams are fantastic and the ones I tried at the stores proved that. K-5, k-7, k-30 they are simply lovely and sits in a hand so perfectly well
