Hello from Waterloo Ontario
Hi all. This is the first time I have participated in a forum (of any kind) and am looking forward to the experience. I purchased a K5 with 18-135 lens just two weeks ago. I find the camera exceptionally easy to use and user friendly. The large selection of buttons and scroll wheels makes it easy to make changes without having to scroll through menus. I have had 3 digital cameras over the years, but this is my first dSLR. With my previous cameras most functions were menu driven. The K5 sure is a joy to use! I still have my Pentax ME and K mount lenses (28, 50 & 80-200) that I purchased in 1977. (one of the reasons I went with Pentax now). I am still using my old Olympus Camedia software from 2003 to manage my photos. However I've discovered that when I try to edit photos taken on the K5, the jpg file is sometimes corrupted. I loaded the 'Pentax Camera Utility 4' that came with the camera today and am hoping (once I figure it out), that that will solve my problem. Best regards, Paul
