Just back from Daytona

Hello all,

I just returned from a grand time at the Daytona 5oo. I went on the trip with my fully auto Olympus FE-230 and returned with 650 snaps, 165 ok pictures and maybe 2 photographs. I don't really like those numbers so I decided to pick up a used Pentax *ist DL 6.1 MP DSLR.

Should arrive Sat.

Any advice would be great. Better Photos all around is the plan.

Thanks
tex

Welcome to the board and the *ist should do you well although it wont slip in your top pocket like the FE-230 ... lol

Although the little FE-230 is a nice point and shoot camera I think you will get the WOW effect when you see the difference in your photos.

Cheers
Keith
