Hi, New Member from Wash DC
Hi. I have been shooting with the K series Pentax for several years now and love the cameras. I am currently shooting with a K-r. Visited Africa in 2012 using this camera with a Sigma 28-300 mm lens. I am here to learn more about technique and lenses to increase my shooting range and capabilities.

I"m in DC too (well, really just over the line in MD). I've dabbled in film cameras long time ago, but then dropped it for about 20 years. Then I got into P&S when they came out. Now I'm on my first real digital-- the K01 --and am trying to learn to take photos, not snapshots.
