Hello, everybody! I've been a long time Pentax user, since I got my first K1000 for Christmas in 1985. I still have that camera. Over the years, I've acquired more lenses, cameras, and equipment. I currently use a Pentax K-x, because all of my old lenses work with it. I love shooting with the vintage lenses with manual controls. I've programmed my green button to give me a DOF preview which also gives me a light reading. I'm presently working at thinning out my collection of lenses and gear, keeping only the stuff that I use on a regular basis. I go by SpaceStationNine on eBay. I've lurked on these forums for years, and finally decided to click on the nagging reminder that I should register and introduce myself. I'd like to thank the people here for the information I've learned about my camera, and hopefully I might be able to contribute myself here and there.

A bit of a reintroduction since it's been a while. I have since upgraded from my K-x to my KP in black, which is digital photography perfection. Love everything about it. I normally keep the Limited 20-40 on it. I've stuck with Pentax because they've never hit me with "Planned obsolescence." Their commitment to APS-C and traditional viewfinders is commendable. I also have an S1a, a Spotmatic, and a K1000 in my collection which I've used at local concerts featuring bands from the late 70's and 80's to complete the immersion of my travel back in time.

Hi. I won a K1000 in a photo contest in the 80’s. I have an MEF, and soon to be arriving, a K2. I’ll check out your eBay account.
