Hi All,
Thanks to the info from all these forums I will be getting my first DSLR in the next few weeks, The choice was easy, going for the K30.
Used to be well in to Photography many years ago (Olympus OM30) but got put aside when kids came along. Started again a couple of years ago with a leaving gift of a Fuji Bridge camera. (S1900). Not a bad camera but limited for what I want (ability for hot shoe and off camara flash/Bulb mode etc)
Budget allowed a choice of Canon 600D/nikond3200/ K30.
K30 will be the one.
Thanks already to all those who posted stuff to help with the decision.

Wow, OM30 - one of the more rare beasts

Did you have the AF lens also, or just the camera with focus assist?

never managed to get hold of the AF lens, just the standard and a few add on lenses. Saw a post on here showing how to convert the OM mount to K mount with a dremel which I may have a go at.
Got it out the other week and it was still working. May run a roll of film through it for old times sake.
