Howdy - never enough pinoy (or any other kind) of pentaxians around here. Your country is one of the very few in Asia, where I've not had the pleasure to be, but it's on the list.......how 'bout showing off nice shots of your neck of the woods, to motivate me...?

Welcome to Pentax Forum. I have been to Philippines many times, and married to a Filipina from Danao City, Cebu. I hope you will be posting many images from your beautiful country.

@tclausen dont you know that pentax bodies were made at cebu city, philippines? you might come here we'll go to pentax factory as pilgrimage,

Oh, that sounds fun.....except, of course, if such a pilgrimage involves a ritual sacrifice of a (camera) body

Many years back, when I was an Olympusian, I got a tour of their Japanese facilities and that sure was an unique experience.

I actually didn't know where the Pentax bodies were made....I know that a pentax manufacture a lot in Vietnam, and a few things still in Japan. Thanks for educating me

i treat you for a couple of beers.and barbecue. look at the bottom of you camera its made here. fellow pentaxian usually go there.

San Miguel and barbeque is the best...that's hard for a Canadian to admit. I love the Philippines I went there with my whole family twice.

hi guys im new in digital photography and i just bought pentax k-01 yesterday i hope to learn a lot from you guys. i in the process of familiarizing my self where to buy lens and accessories at reasonable price both new, second hand and old k mount lenses thanks

You might want to start a new thread for more details, but B&H and Adorama are great for new stuff, while our marketplace, ebay, and keh.com are great for used gear.
