Hello All

,

I got my first DSLR 4 days ago. I was torn between Nikon D5000 & Pentax K-x. However, based on reviews & personal recommendations, I opted for Pentax k-x. I loved it lightweight, color, simplicity, features (Lots of 'em) and size. In the previous years, I owned only P&S digicams. First there was vivitar, then canon, sony, pentax.

After graduating from P&S, here's hello to Pentax. I really look forward sharing inspiring photos with you all. For starters, I really love still life photos, macros, nature photos, animal photos. So most of my photos will be based on these.

I also look forward upgrading my lens, so I will definitely need guidance on this one. For now, I only got the stock lens (18-55mm).

@ivanvernon, Metro Manila NCR (Island - Luzon). I hope I got this right.

One thing about DSLR's is that they are heavier than P&S digicams. It's indeed a different story so I really need to get used to taking photos with my DSLR without any hand shakes. Needs practice.
