What a friendly forum!

Hello,

I'm a very proud K-5 owner. I've just started out some months ago taking my first sharp pictures and I've totally fallen in love for photography shooting wild horses somewhere in Canada.

I much appreciate the lens review section of the website as it is very good to get an idea of the quality of a new or old lense before actually setting off to buy it. I'm still exploring the forums here, perhaps in the future I'll post some decent pictures ; )

Hello everyone and thanks for the warm welcome!

I have been shooting pictures with my K-5 for some four months now, and I must say I'm loving every moment of it. I have always adopted the manual mode for my photography because I like to guess and to make mistakes, while still being aided by the autofocus of the bundle 18-135 WR lense I got in the box with the camera. I'm really itching to get myself a manual prime lense when I return to Italy, to get into a different mind set and try things new.

I have created a photobucket account especially for this occasion as I wish to show the community of fellow pentaxians my own photographic achievements. In the library there I selected the best 6 pictures I made with the camera so far, I wish to know your impressions and opinions however I feel there might be a dedicated section of the forum for discussing our own photography so if someone here can direct me it would be most welcome (I am, indeed, new to this forum).

I hope you enjoy checking my pictures out! Have a great one,

Richard

PS

The horses in the pictures are wild stock from a round-up kept and preserved "wild" in a private property for the past 20 years.
