Hi. I'm not a Pentax owner, but I probably soon will be. Trying to decide between entry level dSLRs and a compact like the pentax K01. I especially like macro photography, and animal photography. Any advice would be welcomed. DCD46

Welcome to the Forums. For the macro the k-30 has focus peaking. It can be a help with manual focusing. I am just now learning that capability.
