New guy from Ohio

Well let's try this again, just made a huge introduction post and submitted and it was gone!

I've been reading in here for a while though and figured it was time to register, I've been into photography for a while, just with your normal point and shoot camera's.

I've had a go pro for about a year and it's a blast.

I was recently at my grandparents and he gave me his old DSLR. Pentax Pz10, and a few lenses.

28mm 2.8, 50mm 1.4 and a macro lense.

So i figured I'd pull the trigger, did some research and the k30 seems pretty solid.

Ordered one and I have to wait till Tuesday, gonna be a long wait haha

After making 3 post I figured that out! Haha oops. I'm sure it probably explains that in the rules that I didn't read throughly :-P

Welcome from another Ohioan and Pentax K-30 owner. I predict you will love the K-30, what a camera! This website is one of the greatest learning tools you can find. If you haven't already, I'll suggest you download the K-30 manual and then you'll have a searchable version on you computer.

What area are you from?
