Hi! - Here's a bit about me.

Greetings Fellow Travelers: I joined this forum to learn about the digital revolution. I have until this week always shot film, usually B&W except for family snaps. I started with a KX many years ago and won an MESuper in a contest and I still have both.

I just got a K10D on the close out price point to help with some vision loss (glaucoma) so I can let the camera do some of the work.

Already learned to take care using a Vivitar 285HV flash with the new camera, so the membership has been helpful the first day!

Welcome. You will find a lot of K10D owners like myself in this forum. We look forward to seeing some of your photos.

Hi Mike: My first photos were, let's just say, not fit for publication. I played around a bit in PP and that didn't seem to help. I wanted to see what the K10D would do with the A35-105/3.5 using Green Mode and the focus beep. Looked great in the VF and the LCD, but pics came out underexposed and not sharp. I have some 'lar'nin to do <|;>)
