New member (converted)

Hello All,

May I introduce myself as a new member.

Being a long time Nikon user in the film era (FM2, F801, private doka) I recently decided to restart my hobby after more than 20 years absence, with a camera from Pentax (K5 II) and some software to manipulate its output heavily ;-).

I'm looking forward to learn the ins and outs of digital photography. This forum is a wealthy source for all kinds of information so, that will certainly speed up the process.

From now on you will probably see some (stupid) questions at first, but I'm not a theorist and hope to show some of my photo's quickly before waiting for perfection. This is a great site.

K.K

Welcome aboard! You'll get good use from this forum's search function. I have been pleasantly surprised how I can dig information up.

I think Pentax's manual camera controls are pretty intuitive for an old manual film shooter - it will come back to you pretty quickly.

Welcome and Enjoy! Hang around here long enough and you may even get the urge to whip out the old film cameras

Welcome to the fold.

I hope your conversion goes more smoothly than mine did. Most of theories remain true only some of the math changes.

You will find a helping hand for just about anything you need here at PF.
