New to the forum

Hi there been using Pentax since 1978 (K1000) new to the forum. Hope to participate as much as possible. I have been in and out of the hobby of and on but beginning to take it seriously now.

Welcome to the Forums Sounds like you started about the same time I did. I still have and occasionally use my old K-1000

Actually this past WE I had to use my old manual lenses with my K-x did the focusing in Live View and they still work as a charm. My two AF lenses bit the dust so these will have to do until I get my new lenses. Too bad they do not make them as they used to any longer. However I do not shoot film any longer so the K1000 is sitting there catching dust and the seal is not working any longer and it leaks light so I will save it as antique together with half the world.
