Hello from the middle of Canada

Just sold my darkroom a couple of years ago and slowly working on digital darkroom with Gimp and Silkypix RAW. I'm a work in progress.

Welcome to the forum, a darkroom in the light is a lot easier and lot less messy.

Thanks, I guess I liked the dark and mess. Seemed less complicated and not everyone was an expert.

Trust me my friend, that still is true today as it was back then, I see many disasters in PP passed off as expert done.

i bet you will find that your experience in the film darkroom will be useful in the digital domain - patience, practice, an established process, attention to fine details, etc.

Welcome to Pentax Forums!

The darkroom was a great experience but I love digital, being able to view what you just shot, change ISO, film type, filters etc. on the fly is simply amazing. As long as I remember to do it.
