I've become a Pentax-phile (Pentaphile?) over the past year, since I saw an H3v on eBay for something like 25 bucks with 50 mm lens. The worst thing happened: It worked fine, so I started adding to the collection, and now have too many bodies and a bunch of lenses. But you can never have enough....
This was not my first Pentax. I inherited a Spotmatic in 1972 -- but I went to the dark side, traded it for a Nikon, and have been using that brand ever since. But there's something special about the old Pentaxes that new cameras don't have, for all their features and digital-ness. I'm glad I rediscovered that.
