Hi- Just joining, biought my first mirrorless Camera and a few months later they discontinue. I guess you either love 'em or hate 'em. I love 'em. The only good thing is that I got a good price, but if anything goes wrong with it during my Squaretrade warranty period, Squaretrade will just give me the sale price of the camera, they'll never fix it. Wow. a new member and already whiing! lol!....and it was in my favorite color too!

Welcome to the forum, and as a K-01 owner, welcome to K-01 land. It's a special place populated by people who can overlook the obvious compromises in the design to see what the camera can do for them, without whining too much about what it isn't.

Welcome. Not a big deal that the camera is discontinued. There are folks on the forum that are shooting with 10 year old *ist Ds (well, and K1000s for that matter). The big question isn't how new your camera is, but what you do with it. Have fun shooting!

Heh - welcome to the Forum and K-01 self-flagellation club. I was given a KX and K50/1.4 in May, 1977 as a college graduation proesent. Bet you can't guess what happened in 1977 (and 1976).

I still have and use my KX regularly.
