Greetings from Denmark

Dear Pentax photographers, greetings from Copenhagen and some pictures from the city I live in. I am pleased to be a member of this fine association of photo enthusiasts, and I hope to be able to contribute with comments and images that others can enjoy the same way that I myself have benefited from other members ' experience with Pentax cameras, lenses and, not least, others ' photos. 16-50mm (1+2), 50-135mm (3), 300mm (4), 43mm (5).

I will be visiting Copenhagen this Friday. Is there any Pentax shop in the town that I can look up for some gears?

Thanks,

It's kind of sad, but there is only a single shop that has a limited selection. Pentax is a small brand in Denmark, so most Pentax photographers buy their equipment via the Internet: Foto C, Holbergsgade 5, DK-1057, Copenhagen K. Tel. +45 33 14 24 14.

Well, in the Greater Copenhagen area there are actually a small handful of physical shopes that usually have (some) Pentax gear in stock. Offhand, I can count to 5 (five). However, Pentax prices in DK are usually somewhat exorbitant compared to our neighbouring countries. So, you'd better plan your next travel to the UK or Germany...............

Many, many years ago Danny Kaye had the song 'Wonderful, Wonderful Copenhagen' in the Hollywood production about Hans Christian Andersen. Hmmmm.....if only the gale would calm, the rain would stop and the clouds would spread, then I would go outside and report, if that's still true.

Thank you for the address. I couldn't find time to visit there. I only visited an electronic store. Can't remember the name but it was on the same street of LEGO store.
Prices are really expensive. Not only photo gear but generally everything is higher than many country. Of course Denmark's GPP is well high and perhaps not affect local residents.

Welcome to the Forum.
Makes me all homesick seeing the pictures from Copenhagen.
Have not been back since 1995, so maybe it is time to return home for another visit.

Thanks Bjarne
