Hello from Germany

Hi all Pentaxians,

my Name is Thomas and i've been shooting with Pentax since 2007, starting with a K10D, followed by a K7 and a K5, already using all of them, every camera has it's own advantages :-)

Living between Cologne and Frankfurt on the country-side, my favorites photo objects are traveling, sports and nature.

Reading here for a long time getting a lot of tips and Information.

Regards
Thomas

Greetings Waeller

Do you already have the tickets to Champions League final in England? I believe we are going to see Bayern v Borussia (unless a miracle happens tonight and tomorow )

Willkommen im Forum von einem Rentner aus Frankfurt (der sich eigentlich überhaupt nicht als Rentner fühlt).

If you have monitored this forum for some time, you will have found out that the German part is nearly empty.
One of the reasons could be that many of the newcomers start because they are facing problems. In the big English speaking part you may sometimes get the first answers within minutes (if you post your request at a time when it's evening in the US). In the poorly frequented German forum it may take several days.

@MarkJerling
Must have been quite a journey 7 generations back. Besides some smaller islands, there is nothing farer away from Germany on this globe than your country!
And still I see food from your country in our supermarkets (not daily, but often, mostly meat and fruits, as far as I remember).

Yes indeed. a good few passengers died en route on the ship. I sure am glad we live in a world with 747's!
