First dslr, first Pentax

Howdy. Joined today to ask questions that I couldn't find in any searches and to scour the marketplace. Just got a K-5 II with the 18-135 and am looking for some primes.

Welcome aboard! I would definitely recommend considering one of the FA limiteds, such as the 77mm or 31mm.

Thanks! I'm in the market for a DA 40 ltd currently... looks like the cost vs pixie dust ratio is pretty high on that one from what I've read.

Yup, that's another great & really sharp lens, just not that fast.

Welcome here. The DA 40 is fine, and tiny. You could also consider the FA 43, which is a full stop faster than the DA 40, but also more expensive (but it's worth it).
