Welcome to the forums Mike. I can recommend the K-30 with the 18-55mm, weather resistant, kit lens as a start. You should have some manual lenses already.... The focus peaking on the K-30 is a nice feature to use with manual lenses...  | |

Hi Mike and welcome to the forum! I also recommend the K-30 but with the 18-135mm WR lens. But do a search on the forum, there is loads of threads with this question. Everyone has there own opinion. Best would be to read up on the cameras that is within your budget, look at pictures threads and if you can go to a store that carries them and see which camera feels best in your hand. I knew once I had the K-30 in my hand it would be great for my needs and it made me able to buy an additional new lens instead of buying just a K-5 II(s) Just my 2 cents, Anyway, again, welcome aboard and hope to see some pictures soon Cheers Yos | |

Welcome to the forum, remember your lenses would still be suitable for newer digital bodies, albeit manual focus. | |
