Hello from North Carolina

Excellent forums! I have been reading the forums for about a year.

I got my very first dslr back in OCT, although I did use my sister's pentax and my dads vivitar back in the early 80's. I went with the pentax k100d super, after much research. I like(d) the fact that older lens can be used, plus I got a really good deal on the k100d super with kit lens, ($354.99 at QVCafter rebate) . I just starting shooting in raw, and a few days ago i got my first prime lens, pentax-a 50/1.7. All I can say about the 50/1.7 is wow! I can see more primes in my future. I have managed to buy quite a few used lens locally.

Anyway, glad to be aboard.

Gee you have been lurking for a looooooong time ...lol Be warned about buying those older Pentax lenses ..... it is addictive ..lol
