Hello from Maine

Well I'm from Texas and I moved to Maine. For a female. Did I need to add that part?

So my budget is lower these days but thanks to Pentax I can still acquire top notch photo making gadgets.
I really appreciate the well thought out features and the Don't fix it if it ain't broke upgrade history.

I recently purchased a k-5 at it's current price and I don't feel as if I am behind the times at all.

Looking forward to learning how to really enjoy photography.

Nolan

Welcome! What part of the state did you land in? As long as you like trees and lighthouses and trees, this isn't a bad place to play with the hobby.

Did I mention the trees?

Yep

Haha, yeah I guess you're right, kerrowdown.

Don't get me wrong, Maine is beautiful.
But the Local economy, well it's hard to photograph that and the thousand words could offend some locals I s'pose.

Thanks all for the welcome.

Yeah I did notice some trees.
Came from pineywoods as they call it in E. TX and I appreciate the maples and all immensely here.
Landed in Portland and the people are great.
