hello all

After years of shooting 35mm I am quite new to medium format. Just picked up a 645n and so far I am really enjoying the familiar feel. I am very happy to have found this site. It is a great resource.

Welcome. New here too. Registered a few months ago but just reading since. Enjoy that film camera. I'm still using film 100% as well.

Yeah I really love how digital has made certain film cameras so much more affordable! I love shooting film more than anything but I never bash digital (I do get annoyed when people tell me that phone cameras will make my camera obsolete though) I do frequently use my little canon G11 digital point and shoot for capturing moments and for Instagram.

More of a recognition of your "Fuller Full Frame", the other argument of FF over APS-C goes on here forever.

Well, anything smaller than 4"x5" can't be called "full frame", right? I mean, we all know that 120mm film is just for snapshots and amateurs and not for /serious/ photography Pentax is doomed until they come out with a digital view camera....?

Back to serious, welcome. MF photography is in a class of its own, I've never had the honor of digital MF nor of the Pentax MF gear but....well, the viewfinder of my old Mamiya 645 still makes me wow....I have no doubts that you'll not get plenty of WOWs

4x5...sigh...maybe in the future. But, for now, I am enjoying my results from my "big boy camera". I think there are user galleries or something like that here and I look forward to posting soon.
