I have been reading many of the threads on this post for awhile now, I figure it is time to register so I can reply to some of the threads if I want. I have a K5 and a couple of inexpensive used lenses. I mostly take outdoor type photos and they are not great, but I have fun doing it. I have been exploring GIMP as an editor. Good to be here!

Welcome to the forum , getting enjoyment from your photography is half the battle.
