Hello from Sydney

Hello everyone,

I have been reading this forum for over 6 months now and also been taking photos with my K-5. Excellent camera. I will soon upload some picture to show you all. Luckily by lens buying addiction has been managed well by my slow learning process. But i wish to add samyang/rokinnon 85mm f1.4 and a 10-20mm sigma in my gear list.

Welcome to the forums. There is some good info here. I can recommend the Samyang 85 mm as a relatively inexpensive way to acquire a fast and sharp tele lens.

There are a few of us around.

I find Techriffic has fairly cheap lenses if you're looking to add to your collection (aren't we all).

Also check out the Sydney Pentax Users Club here, we have photo outings from time to time

Hi Skunko,
Thanks for the Techriffic tip. The two main camera shops here in Coffs Harbour are very expensive, very helpful but expensive. One of them is a sponser for our camera club work shops with gift vouchers.
My K30 was $350 cheaper from a Sydney store than purchasing here.

Sounds like you have early symptoms of LBA. Resistance is futile!
