totally new in photography

dear all: for a tour of europe I bought an on-sale end-of -the-line pentax k-m that the sales person recommended as totally beginners entry level camera used in photography schools

I have been doing snaps with it through two tours of europe and a cruise to alaska, and now am heading for some more adventure in the k-m's picture taking,

I have on order a pentax DA L 55-300 lens and a rokinon 500/1000 mm lens that I will use along with the pentax 18-55 mm lens that came with the k-m, ...,

and my ultimate goal is to eventually take pictures of jupiter and jupiter's moons: that is my dream goal, ...,

and have no plans of going beyond the k-m's horizon, as I think the k-m seems to be the answer to all my photography ambitions

with the top goal: jupiter's moons

do I have the equipment to do the job?

6 Reasons to Try Astrophotography with your DSLR

Technically, but you'll probably want a telescope and a tracking mount.

Welcome to the forum, that will sure be some cruise, making the Alaska one look a bit tame.

Do this well, is pretty technical stuff and requires some fairly specialised kit, as others have suggested, search here on the forum and see what comes back.
