Hello from Illinois...

Hello everybody...this is a fantastic site...thought I would go from reading to joining.
I have a K-x (bought from Adorama; now sitting unused) and a K-30 bought from Amazon...
Lenses:
18-135 WR
35mm Plastic Fantastic prime
90mm Tamron Macro Prime
55-300 DA
18-55mm DAL (unused and not in bag)
Interested in:
believe it or not I may get the Q7, the very cheap K-01, or the MX-1
Would love:
Some DA* lenses

I rented it once, when our now 3-yr old Malamute was a pup. After that week or so, I had to have one. I put it on my Marketplace watchlist and got one for about $350 or so. Yeah, it's not my most-used lens, but it is a lot of fun.

It's an amazingly fun lens, but rather "special purpose". AT 17mm it's almost rectilinear, but only almost - and at 10mm it's very much a fish-eye. Razor-sharp through and through, though.

It's not my most used lens, but it's amazingly fun
