Hello from NSW Australia

Hi my name is Michael and I currently own a Pentax Ist'Ds and looking at up grading to either a k5II or k5IIs, just worried about moire on the IIs any feedback from current users would be appreciated, my style of shooting is mainly landscape, holiday and portraits of my kids with the occasional wedding thrown in. I'd love to hear some comments.

That's going to be a huge boost in technology, you'll love it. If you do enough weddings etc, I might aviod the -s version, since you have a potential for distracting moire in fabrics, window shades etc. It's probably not worth the headache.

Welcome aboard from Northern Illinois, US

No moire that I can see from any of my textured shots with the K-5IIs. Well engineered camera with excellent AF control. Worth the investment. Enjoy the forum. And welcome.

Welcome to the forum, the good news is... there's always room for one more Aussie, the bad news is... it's your round at the bar.
