Welcome to the forums from a fellow K-30 user! For what it's worth, I never considered myself a wide-angle shooter until I got the DA 12-24/4, and then it was just instant love! I'm sure you'll find plenty of opinions here on how you should spend your money. Looking forward to seeing your photos!

My favorite wide angle is the DA 15 limited, but whatever you choose, have fun shooting!

Welcome. There are also some really good third party wide lenses out there. Like mentioned above, head to the lens review database. It is one of this forums greatest features.
