New, new, and . . . new

My first post to a thread anywhere; my first Pentax (K-30) coming; and it'll be my first DSLR. Purchased it for the viewfinder. Am a film preference guy, tried my first digital with a SONY Nex3, second digital is my iPhone5, and just hate composing using a screen. Dug out my old Nikon F2 and it's like home again. I discovered how much I like my own sense of borders, can move around and study what I'm composing. So here I go with my first DSLR.

Welcome, you will love that nice viewfinder on the K-30. But I don't mind composing on that screen with focus peaking when using a tripod, especially at night.
