Hi from Portland. The one in Oregon.

I've been photograhing since a smelly darkroom in the 80's. Got my first DSLR, the K10d back in February, 2007. Dragged ass so didn't upgrade until the K-01 was down to $300 last year and haven't looked back. All of my manual focus lenses have never been happier.

I think the other Portland is in Maine. The city immediately across the river from Portland (Oregon), in Washington, is called Vancouver, not to be confused with the one in British Columbia... okay, too late, I'm confused!

Welcome! I was attacked by an angry grackle once, but never an angry magpie. You're not gonna smack me, are you?
