Hello from Slovakia

Hi there, here are some words about me.

I have been using a compact Canon for a few years, but this year I bought my first DSLR (second-hand Pentax K-x). I was curious about what it's like. Honestly, I am just learning how to control it, I am far from being an experienced user

But even with the compact camera I have been always using semi-automatic modes. One important thing I miss about the DSLR is the compactness - unfortunately I take the camera with me less frequently than before

I like to shoot landscapes and other non-moving subjects. Maybe because of my introvert personality - I don't enjoy to command people and tell them how they should pose and what they should wear etc...

I have voted in two contests so far but not participated yet. I'll change that ASAP

Welcome aboard, it's each to their own, we would all be pretty boring if we were all the same.

Thanks, in this case it wasn't easy, nor the hills neither the shore were horizontal... but I think the trees are perpendicular to the bottom line
