Introduction

Hello,

The forum seems to think, that it is a good idea to introduce myself:

I am primarily a film-photographer and mainly B&W. I use large format, medium format and 35mm. In 35mm I am very much a Pentaxian. And likely to remain so.

My active 35mm gear list is

manual focus:
4 Pentax MX, 28mm M, (sorry not at hand so I do not know the aperture off by heart) M 50mm f/1.8, M 80mm f/2.0 (I love that lens) M 100mm/4.0 macro, 135mm, 150mm
and also 20mm by Voigtländer, 25mm by Zeiss, 50mm by Zeiss
autofocus:
2 Pentax IST* 2 Pentax MZ5N 35mm,, 50mm, 85mm, Sigma Zoom 24 ~ 70, Pentax Zoom 28~105 (or thereabouts)

I am in two minds as to whether I should buy a digital SLR - If I do it'll be a Pentax. I really like the K5
I mainly take landscape photos - here is an example taken wit an MX:

Regards
Andreas

Welcome, You have a great set of gear and know how to use it. So I´d say, scan your negatives professionally (heavy .tiff files) and see how do you like post processing them. Then get a DSLR if you like the workflow.

I shoot both film and digital and I confess that now I am learning Lightroom I don´t shoot film so much...
