Hello, I started out on old Pentax film cameras (a Super A and a MX) when I first got introduced to photography about 10 years ago. I have owned a KX for the last four years and am still having lots of fun with it.

There's a vibrant and active community of Australians here and advice is beyond helpful. I, like you, started with film Pentax and am now on my second Pentax DSLR and am also having lots of fun and learning all the time.

Thanks Adinifinitium, I'm looking forward to learning more about photography and carmeras in general. You guys seem to be really friendly and helpful here.

Welcome! This is a good place to learn, but please be aware that you will develop a "need" for expensive equipment if you spend too much time here
