Welcome! You probably need a lens with an aperture ring to use it with that extension tubes

Most probably, the extension tubes donīt have a way to keep the aperture lever pulled (black lever on the back of the lens) and the DA series donīt have a way to open it manually (the Aperture ring). Does the 50mm has it? Which version is it?

Ok. Take the 50mm lens. It has a ring that has the marks "1.7 2 2.8 4 5.6 .... 22" ok? Notice that the DA18-55 lens lacks this ring, thatīs why it looks dark with the extension tubes
To use the 50mm mount it on the extension tube number 3 for example. Turn the aperture ring (the one with the marks I mentioned before) so that the number 2 or 2.8 is in line with the red diamond mark.
Set the camera on M mode and set the shutter speed to 1/60 (or similar) and the ISO to 400. The focusing is tricky becouse the Depth of Field (Depth of field) is very small at f/2 (remember we set the mark "2" before?)
A way to focus at such short distances is to set the focus at the minimum distance and then moving the camera forward or backwards to achieve focus.
Take a shot and see how it comes out, then adjust the shutter speed higher if itīs too bright or lower if itīs too dark.

See this thread on how to meter manual lenses such as your 50mm.
