New dude from QC

Hi,
I'm from Quebec.
Last Saturday I have bought K-30 + 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 ED AL [IF] DC WR. Really impressed by its low light performance and low noise level.
Switching from Sony a35. Last week I was trying Nikon d5100 + 35mm/1.8 but disappointed by bad focus which seem to be quality control issue. There were no ways to adjust it myself and I see too many complains from Nikon users, so I returned the set and decided to give a try to Pentax K-30 which has impressed me from first test shots. The weather sealing is also important feature for me because it complements the needs of my motorcycling hobby.
Here are few of recent shots:

The two above are cropped images.

And this is low light test

- 1/15, f4, iso3200 21mm converted from DNG using FastStone no processing.
Some more shots at higher ISO which illustrates excellent performance of this great camera

Feel free to criticize, giving advices, etc. I'm still learning.

Wow, great pictures! Congrats on your K-30, from what I hear it's a great camera.

Hi Randy,

I love the look of Honda CX650E, the engine looks very interesting - v2 but perpendicular to the bike axis - very nice design. Send me a picture of your bike. I've had vfr750 '90 - sweet machine, but unfortunately I have no my own garage yet to give proper service to that baby, so had to sell it with bitter feelings.
Now I ride Yamaha FZ1 '2001 and love it too.

Yeah, the ride was great, some mountain twisties - enjoyed it every minute. The K-30 did good job too

I've done 1st day pictures of my travel.

The lens (smc PENTAX-DA 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 ED AL [IF] DC WR) seem to be a bit on a dark side, but it is easy to fix it in a raw convertor or adding some exposure bias, otherwise it seem to work flawless.
