New Member K10D

A new member but an old supporter of Pentax.
After many years using my Program A I finally made the change to DSLR land with a K10D. I'm looking to replace the kit lens with a Tamron 17 - 50 f2.8 (only recently available in Pentax mount) and would be interested to hear of any others with similar ideas

Hello and a warm welcome to the forum. Good luck with the K10D - fabulous camera. Another lens for consideration is the Sigma 18-50 f2.8 or, if funds allow, the Pentax 16-50 f2.8.

Great choice, and I don't think you can go wrong with any of the f/2.8 wide angle zooms - pick which one suits you.
